Providing feedback to students on Summit K12 enhances their learning by targeting areas for improvement and guiding them toward focused growth. In TELPAS Readiness, the teacher has the opportunity to provide feedback on completed ELD Benchmarks, quizzes, or activities in the Speaking and Writing courses*.
Speaking
In Summit K12, the scoring of speaking recordings is automated, but teachers are encouraged to listen to a student's recording.
To listen to a student’s recording to provide feedback, visit:

Writing
While some items in our Writing Fundamentals and TELPAS Writing Readiness sections are autoscored by AI, the teacher will be responsible for scoring most writing responses and can use the provided exemplars as a guide to provide quality feedback.
