How to Access the Teacher Resources
1. Log in and select Teacher Resources on your Teacher Dashboard.
2. At the top of the screen, you’ll find a navigation bar with four tabs: Instructional Resources, Course Information, Implementation Resources, and Course Navigation.
Select any of these tabs to explore helpful information and resources to support your implementation.
Instructional Resources
This section provides essential tools to support instruction and language development. It includes speaking and writing graphic organizers, a detailed scope and sequence for the Language Foundation Building Blocks, and a comprehensive list of high-frequency words in both English and Spanish. Each subsection within this area is designed for easy navigation, featuring direct access links to the corresponding content in Summit K12, ensuring a seamless transition from planning to classroom implementation.

Course Information
This section provides key tools to support instruction and communication. Under Course Overview, you’ll find parent and guardian letters available in over 30 languages, which can be shared to help families better understand the program’s goals and structure. The TEA Resources subsection includes official materials from the Texas Education Agency—such as the ELPS (English Language Proficiency Standards), Proficiency Level Descriptors, and Speaking and Writing Rubrics—to help guide instruction and assessment aligned with state expectations.
Implementation Resources
This section is designed to equip both teachers and campus leaders with tools to support successful program implementation.
For teachers, you’ll find a comprehensive collection of resources including an Instructional Flipbook, Year-at-a-Glance, a Secondary Implementation Models guide, the Newcomer Onramp lesson guide to support early arrival students, MTSS Skills Cards for responsive instruction, and guides like the Countdown to TELPAS and Post-TELPAS Guides, which are organized by Proficiency Level Descriptors (PLDs).
For leadership, this section includes the Leadership Flipbook to support strategic planning and coaching, as well as the MTSS Skills Cards to help drive data-informed instructional decisions.
Course Navigation
This section provides over 50 short navigation videos designed to help you get the most out of the program. You’ll find step-by-step guidance on key areas such as the teacher resources, reports, and family engagement. There are also navigation videos that provide a general course overview and videos specific to each section of the course. Additionally, there’s a dedicated section of student-facing videos, which are available in both English and Spanish to support accessibility and understanding for all learners. Our navigation videos are a great resource for both new and returning users looking to explore or revisit key features of the course.
