Welcome to our comprehensive guide on the L1 Support accommodation offered in our Connect to Literacy: TELPAS Readiness program. Find step-by-step instructions to enable the accommodation for specific students as well as a quick summary of the accommodation’s functionality.
Enable Accommodations
To enable the L1 Support accommodation in your Connect to Literacy: TELPAS Readiness class, follow these steps:
1. Select My Courses and navigate to the desired class.
2. Select Manage, followed by Accommodations.
3. The class roster will appear. Accommodations must be enabled individually by checking the box under L1 Support for the appropriate student(s). Choose one of the available languages in the dropdown menu and be sure to select Save.
L1 Support
L1 Support ensures the student will receive text and/or audio directions in the selected First Language when applicable. This added support intends to increase the student’s ability to effectively complete their ELD activities.
This accommodation is offered for the following languages:
