Logging into Summit K12
There are four main ways your student can access Summit K12, depending on the district’s setup:
1. Clever, ClassLink, or Google SSO on a Laptop/Desktop
2. Website Login on a Laptop/Desktop
3. iPad
4. LMS Integration with Canvas, Schoology, or Google Classroom

Your Student’s My Summit Base Dashboard
After successfully signing in, your student will be taken to their My Summit Base dashboard.
Students will use their dashboards to access assignments, personalized learning plans (PLPs), and to check their progress.
Summit K12 ELD Assessments
Summit K12 offers ELD assessments for students in K-12th grade. Teachers can use these assessments to monitor your student’s progress.
Typically, students take these assessments with their teacher. If your student’s teacher has assigned an assessment to be completed at home, they can easily find it under My Assignments.
Contact your student’s teacher if more than one assessment has been assigned and your student is not sure which one to work on.

Once submitted, the assessments will generate a Personalized Learning Plan (PLP) filled with activities to help the student practice their English language skills. PLPs are only available for 1st-12th grade Connect to Literacy classes.
Assessments and activities related to Speaking will require the use of a microphone. Summit K12 recommends reviewing Student Guide - How to Record - National ELD and Microphone Test on Summit K12 to make sure your student’s device is properly functioning.
Once a student has a PLP, they can continue working on their learning plan until your student’s teacher instructs otherwise.
Student Assignments
Students can either work on their PLPs or individual activities assigned by the teacher.
Have your student select My PLP to access their learning plan or TREK for Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing. The first activity in each TREK will be unlocked for the student to access.
To find the individual activities assigned by your student’s teacher, students can select My Assignments.
Students can also use their dashboards to review completed assignments and scores. View Student Guide - Using the My Summit Base Dashboard for more information.
