This article details how to edit the Course Settings for Dynamic Science to allow individual assignment functionality in the Concept Mastery or Concept Boost course sections. For general assigning instructions, please see How to Assign an Activity - Dynamic Sciences.
What is "Individual Assign"?
TEKS lessons in the Concept Mastery and Concept Booster course sections are designed to be delivered as a set.
Assigned as a set, only one Assign button is visible, and students complete the activities or assessments in sequential order from left to right. The available activities vary by grade level.
Dynamic Science - 2nd Grade
Dynamic Biology
Instead of assigning the entire set, teachers can enable "Individual Assign" in their Course Settings. This allows teachers to intentionally choose and assign particular activities from the set.

Enabling "Individual Assign"
To change your Course Settings and enable the Individual Assign feature, follow the steps below:
1. Select My Account and then Settings.
2. Select Course Settings.
3. Toggle the setting to Enabled and navigate away from the page to save. This will be enabled for all Dynamic Science courses on Summit K12 in which you are the primary teacher.
4. Afterwards, toggle between Assign/Preview to assign specific activities*.
*TEKS lessons that have already been assigned as a set cannot be altered.
5. If assignments were assigned as a whole row, and the individually assign option is selected, the whole row assignment will remain.
