10/21/2025 at 8:39 AM CT - AWS issues have been fully resolved, and our LMS is now fully operational. The temporary fix has been removed, and all pages, including state score uploads, are functioning normally.
We’ll continue to monitor site performance throughout the day.
10/20/2025 at 11:40 AM CT - Summit K12 has deployed a temporary fix to restore access to reports and student-facing pages. Please note that some reports may display stale data from Saturday while we work with AWS to fully synchronize live data.
As part of this mitigation, we have temporarily closed the State Upload page to prevent new data from being mixed in during the outage.
Our engineering team continues to monitor performance and coordinate with AWS to restore full functionality. We appreciate your patience and will provide further updates as progress is made.
10/20/2025 at 8:18 AM CT - We are currently experiencing an unexpected LMS outage due to an AWS outage. Our development team is actively investigating the cause and working to resolve it as quickly as possible.
Prior Incidents
10/16/2025 at 10:47 AM CT - The Summit K12 LMS experienced a partial outage affecting Teacher Reports, some Admin Reports and the Student My Progress tab between approximately 7:45 AM and 9:00 AM CT. Access to these pages has now been fully restored. Our development team is continuing to monitor their stability to ensure everything remains fully functional. We sincerely appreciate your patience during this incident.
10/16/2025 at 8:02 AM CT - We’re currently seeing an issue affecting specific pages in the LMS, not the entire system. The error is appearing on the Teacher Reports and My Progress pages for students, as well as some Admin Reports.
Our development team is actively investigating the cause and working to resolve it as quickly as possible.
10/3/2025 at 11:50 AM CT - The Summit K12 LMS is back online as of 10:40 AM CT, following an outage between approximately 8:40 AM and 10:40 AM CT. Users should now be able to access the platform. Our development team is continuing to monitor system stability closely to ensure everything remains fully functional. We sincerely appreciate your patience during the downtime.
10/3/2025 at 8:53 AM CT - Some users are intermittently experiencing errors when logging in or navigating through Summit K12, including slow loading times.

9/11/2025 at 2:18 PM CT - Summit K12 software development team updated the underlying resource causing the issue and is in communication with AWS to confirm.
9/11/2025 at 1:06 PM CT - Intermittent users have reported slow loading times and errors loading assessment reports: "Unable to acquire a lock for caching".
9/8/2025 at 12:03 PM CT - The Summit K12 software development team has implemented a fix addressing slow load times for logging in, student dashboard pages, and loading reports.
9/8/2025 at 11:20 AM CT - Internal users began reporting slow loading times and an error message, "Exception - Report server connection failed".
