Teachers with a STAAR-tested Dynamic Science course (5th/8th) or Dynamic Biology course have a STAAR/EOC Review section. This section unlocks closer to STAAR in preparation for the STAAR/EOC test. Teachers can find a full-length practice test to administer which will generate a Personalized Learning Plan (PLP) for students to work on. Teachers and students can expect to see new question types embedded in Summit K12’s Practice Test, including short-constructed responses (SCR).
Teachers can use the Item Analysis Report to review class performance in each item on the STAAR/EOC Practice test to gain further insight for progress monitoring.

Understanding the Item Analysis Report
The Item Analysis Report denotes each item’s TEKS standard, Reporting Category (RC), Depth of Knowledge (DOK), whether it is a Readiness or Supporting standard, and the Recurring Theme and Concept (RTC).
Teachers can click on the hyperlinked Item number to view the specific questions and answers in a new pop-up window.
Question Type identifies the format of the question and a key is provided under the report table for clarity.
Data under Correct indicates the percentage of tested students who chose the correct answer. Hovering over this percentage will identify the correct answer for each MC-type question. NR (No Response) indicates the percentage of students who did not respond to the question before submitting.
Scrolling to the right of the table will show data specific to the question types.
1. MC Only: A breakdown of all multiple-choice question items highlighting the percentage of students who chose each answer choice. Hover over one of the choices to quickly view the answer.
2. SCR Only: Teachers can see the percentage of students who received 2, 1, or 0 points for their short constructed responses and the percentage of students whose responses are still unscored. To learn more about scoring SCRs, please visit Scoring Constructed Responses in Practice Tests - Dynamic Sciences.
3. All Other Item Types: Questions whose type is not MC or SCR can receive full, partial, or zero credit for their response. This section of the report denotes the percentage of students who received partial or no credit.
