Summit K12 guarantees students will improve their English Language Proficiency by at least 1 level from the previous school year as measured on the annual TELPAS assessment.
Teachers can use the Proficiency Growth Guarantee Qualification and the Proficiency Growth Guarantee reports to quickly determine ELD benchmark and PLP completion and identify which students qualify for the Guarantee.

PLP Completion Key
= student has completed < 50% of the rows in the PLP
= student has completed 50-99% of the rows in the PLP
= student has completed 100% of the rows in the PLP
empty cell = student has not started the PLP
Once a student shows 100% completion for all 6 qualifying PLPs (PLPs #1-3 in both Listening-Speaking and Reading-Writing), the date of completion will appear under the Readiness Date column to indicate the student has met the activity requirements for Summit K12’s Guarantee.

Once a student receives a for each ELD Benchmark and PLP, a gold star will appear at the far right under the Proficiency Growth Guarantee Qualified column to indicate the student has met the activity requirements for Summit K12’s Guarantee.
Accessing the Reports
To find the Proficiency Growth Guarantee Qualification and the Proficiency Growth Guarantee reports, teachers will:
1. Select My Courses.
2. Navigate to a TELPAS Readiness class and click Reports.
3. This will open your TEACHER REPORTS DASHBOARD. Under Summary Reports, select either Proficiency Growth Guarantee Qualification or Proficiency Growth Guarantee.
