There are different tests, or assessments, for you to take on Summit K12 in your Connect to Literacy class. Every time you take a test, a learning plan is created for you. This plan is called your PLP.
To learn how to find your test, click here.
Below you will find tips on how to take your test successfully, but please let your teacher know if you have any questions or problems.
Before the Test |
🎙️Always check your microphone to make sure it is working when doing Speaking tests. For steps on how to check your microphone, click here. 🔊Make sure your sound is on and your speakers are working. |
During the Test |
👂 Listen to the story or directions so that you know when to pick an answer or move on to the next part of the test. The sound from the test will only play one time, so make sure you are paying attention. ❓ If you are stuck on a question and cannot move forward, or if a picture or video is not loading, you might need to clear the cache on your browser. For steps on how to do this, click here. 🙋🏽If you still have issues, please let your teacher know. 🛑If you need to stop the test before you are finished, you can. When you come back to the test, you will click on the icon to resume.
Answer all of the questions the best you can, and after completing the last question, click Finish Attempt.
Once you have selected Finish Attempt, you will see the Summary of Attempt page. At the bottom of the page, click Submit all and finish.
You will now be able to see your graded test. You can look over your answers and see which questions had correct or incorrect answers. Click Finish at the bottom of the page. |
After the Test |
💻Your PLP is now ready! Start working on your PLP until your teacher tells you to stop or until you finish it. Can’t find your PLP? Go to the Find Your PLPs section in our Getting Started with Connect to Literacy - National ELD student guide for steps on how to find it. |
