There are a few different ways to record and submit your audio answer on Summit K12 depending on the activity you are working on.
Recording on the Pronunciation Perfector
How to Record
Once you are on a speaking question, you will click the button to listen to the audio instructions and the question. You can record as many times as you need to.
Follow the steps below when you are ready to record:
Step 1: Click the Microphone button to begin recording your answer. Be sure to speak clearly and loud enough into your microphone.
Step 2: Click the Stop button when you are done recording.
Step 3: Click the green Play button to listen to your recording.
If you would like to record your answer again, then click on the Microphone button. The new recording will delete your previous response. The new recording will become your answer.
Your recordings will be saved automatically when you move on to the next question. The recordings will be graded once you finish and submit the assessment or quiz.
How Long Can My Recording Be?
There is no time limit to your recording, however, if no audio is detected an alert in red letters will appear.
If your audio is not detected, test your microphone by following the steps in our student guide: How to Use the Mic Test.
