Checking Your Avatar's Progress
See your Summit K12 progress by following your Summit K12 Avatar up the mountain! Avatars are available for 3rd-8th grade, English I, and English II students. They help you check your PLP (Personalized Learning Plan) progress.
Checking Your Avatar's Progress
Once you finish a row of your PLP, you'll see your Avatar trekking* towards the summit of The Matterhorn.
*Trekking means going on a long journey, typically on foot.
Don’t have a PLP? Check in with your teacher or read this article about taking an assessment.
You can always check how far you've gone on your Trek. Just go to My Account on Summit K12, then pick My Avatar from the menu that drops down.
On the next page, you can see your Trek. Your Trek will show up after you've completed one of the STAAR Practice Tests.
You will need to finish your assignments on your PLP one by one to start tracking progress. Your Avatar’s spot on the map will change depending on the last assessment you have finished.
Edit Your Avatar
You can make your Avatar special by changing how they look. To do this, just pick My Account. After that, choose My Avatar from the menu that drops down.
Then, pick My Profile on the pop-up about your Avatar's progress, or on the My Avatar page.
A window will pop up called "Personalize your Avatar". You can pick your Avatar and the skin tone. The options you've chosen will be outlined in blue. When you're done, click the Save button.
