If you are a student enrolled in an HB 4545 class, you will take a STAAR Accelerated Placement test. After you take the STAAR Accelerated Placement test, a learning plan will be created for you.
For 3rd-8th grade Reading/Language Arts, English I, and English II students, this plan is called your ALP.
ALP stands for Accelerated Learning Plan.
For 5th grade Science, 8th grade Science, and Biology students, this plan is called your PLP.
PLP stands for Personalized Learning Plan.
These plans are created just for you right after you take a test! A PLP or ALP is filled with activities that will let you practice the skills you need to work on to help you grow. Your PLP or ALP is created based on how you do on your test. This is why you must take your time and do your best when answering questions.
Take an Assessment

2. Press the button for the assessment. Make sure the lock icon is green . If the lock icon next to the assessment is red , ask your teacher to unlock the test first. Then, refresh the page if needed.
