There are different tests, or assessments, for you to take on Summit K12 in your Connect to Literacy class. Every time you take an assessment, a learning plan is created for you. This plan is called your PLP.
PLP stands for Personalized Learning Plan.
PLPs are designed just for you right after you take an assessment! A PLP is filled with activities that will let you practice the skills you need to work on to help you grow. Your PLP is created based on how you do on your assessment. This is why you must take your time on the assessment and do your best when answering questions.
Some questions on the Listening-Speaking assessments will require you to record yourself speaking. Make sure you are using a device or a headset with a built-in microphone and that the microphone has been enabled. Ask your teacher for help if needed.
1. If you’re enrolled in multiple courses, make sure you’ve selected the Connect to Literacy course on your student dashboard. You can find those directions here - How Do I Switch My Courses?
2. Select the icon for the assessment your teacher is asking you to complete under My Assignments.
Please let your teacher know if you have any questions or problems.
