Welcome to Summit K12!
Our Accelerated Learning programs provide supplemental instruction that aims to assist students who did not meet the previous year’s passing STAAR/EOC requirements in achieving satisfactory performance in Reading, Science, and/or Biology. This guide provides you with four easy steps to start implementing Summit K12 Accelerated Learning in your classroom!
1. Access Your Course
2. Enroll Students
3. Assign the Accelerated Placement Test
4. Track Student Data
1. Access Your Course
Log in and select My Course on your Teacher Dashboard or My Courses in the navigation bar.
2. Enroll Students
Select + ENROLL to enroll students in your Accelerated Learning class if students still need to be enrolled*.
*If your district's IT/Tech Dept will establish a full roster integration with Summit K12 Support, students will be enrolled automatically and may not need to be manually enrolled. Contact your administration for more guidance if needed.

3. Assign the Accelerated Placement Test
Navigate to your Accelerated Learning class and select the appropriate Accelerated Placement icon.
Select the Assign button to assign the Accelerated Placement Test.
4. Track Student Data
Navigate to Reports to track student data and monitor Personalized Learning Plan (PLP) completion as they progress throughout the year. The available reports may vary depending on the type of Accelerated Learning course you have.
To find your Accelerated R/LA reports, select Reports from your Teacher Dashboard. This will open your Teacher Reports Dashboard. If you have other Summit K12 programs, such as Connect to Literacy or Dynamic Science, make sure to switch your dashboard to RLA Mastery before selecting Reports.
If you have multiple classes, use the Class dropdown menu at the top right of your Teacher Reports Dashboard to select the desired class when viewing your reports.
To find your reports in Accelerated Science/Biology, select the Reports button on your class. This will open a dropdown menu of available reports to choose from.
- Accelerated Learning R/LA: The Accelerated Placement Test will produce a different number of PLPs depending on the class grade level. Students should work on PLPs in sequential order.

- 3rd - 5th: 5 PLPs will generate
- 6th - English II: 4 PLPs will generate

- Accelerated Learning Science/Biology: The Accelerated Placement Test will produce 1 PLP for the student to work on.
